About The Team |
We are a team who likes to do what we are doing and are very committed to doing everything we can to do as well as is possible. We are a rookie team this year, meaning this is our first year competing together as "RoboPegz", even though some of our members have been on different teams before. Because of this, we haven't always had all the parts or the money that we need for things, but we never give up and always find another way to do something, even if it's a temporary solution. Even though we occasionally have disagreements that are sometimes argued over, we always try to show "gracious professionalism" (GP) to everyone.

Obstacles |
As a team that wants to do our best in everything we do, we've come across some troubles. Ranging from problems with the code to not having the right parts, we've managed to overcome them all. Many times we've had the problem of not having the right parts, or not being able to get the right parts in time. We've overcome these problems by finding other ways to build stuff out of the materials that were available to us at the moment. Again, problems have come up with the code not working, and our not knowing why. This was one of our major problems because, until Taylor learned how to code a couple months ago, Xander was the only team member, other than Coach Cris, that knew how to code. Even though we've had a lot of problems that keep us at bay for a bit, we haven't yet failed to find a solution.

MeetingsThe RoboPegz meet every Sunday for 4 hours to work on our robot. Since we only meet once a week, if we skip just one meeting then we're a whole week closer to our next competition with no progress in that time. So we try our very best to have everyone at every meeting and to not skip any. The meeting schedule is always the same, except for the week right before a competition. We usually meet on Tuesdays and Fridays after school the week before the competition.
